The Board of Directors represents all walks of life. They come together in their love of the arts to guide the mission of the Arts Center. We welcome new Board members. If you are interested in joining us, please contact the center at 603/569-7979.
President:Barbara "Bobbie" Stave - Bobbie is an original member of the board. She retired from teaching art and computer graphics in Westchester, New York in 2001. She and her husband, Bob, live and maintain 6 acres in south Wolfeboro. As a member of the First Christian Church in Wolfeboro, she chairs the Women's Journey Ministry. She is active in the Ladies of the Lake Quilt Guild, the Newcomers Garden Group and the Wolfeboro Garden Club. An avid gardener, she volunteers at the Hospital Street Fair collection barn directing their Plant and Garden booth.
Secretary/Treasurer: Linda Matchett - Linda has co-owned the Tuc' Me Inn B&B located in Wolfeboro since March 2002. Prior to purchasing the Inn, she worked as a Human Resource executive for several technology firms in the Washington, DC area. She is active in her local church, the Wolfeboro Lions Club and Clearlakes Chorale in addition to her work with the Arts Center.
At Large Members:
- Heather A. Ashton: Heather Ashton joined Tom Bigelow in August 2003 and they formed Bigelow & Ashton in January 2004. She has been practicing in public accounting since 1989 and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1993. In addition to working with the Arts Center, Ms. Ashton serves on the Board for Great Waters Music Festival and has served as a volunteer for other boards in the local community.
- Thomas Bickford: Mr. Bickford, has been practicing law since 1995. An area native, he opened his practice in Wolfeboro in September of 2002. He practices in the areas of estate planning, probate and trust administration, real estate and family law. Attorney Bickford, formerly a full-time fire-rescue lieutenant, is an on-call firefighter with the Wolfeboro Fire Rescue Department. He is also active both on and off stage with the Village Players of Wolfeboro.
- Ann Hammond: Ann Hammond and her husband, Norman, have owned and operated the Little Farm Bed and Breakfast in Wolfeboro since 2001. Before moving to Wolfeboro, Ann worked for many years in Quality Services at GTE in Massachusetts and was a Lead Assessor for ISO900 Quality Systems. She has served as Chair for First Night Wolfeboro, is a member of the Board of Directors and is Chair of the Retail/Marketing Committee of the Wolfeboro Area Chamber of Commerce. Ann is also on the Board of the Wolfeboro Garden Club.
